Why Android TV Needs a Different Method

Android TV doesn’t include a default web browser, and the Google Play Store doesn’t carry Inat Box. That means you’ll need a small helper app — a file manager with browsing capability — to download and install the APK directly on your TV.

📺 Inat Box Android TV — Compatible Devices

  • Sony, Hisense, TCL, Philips Android TVs
  • NVIDIA Shield TV / Shield TV Pro
  • Mi Box / Mi TV Stick
  • Any device running Android TV OS 8.0+

Installation Steps

1

Install a File Browser App

Open the Google Play Store on your Android TV and search for “Downloader” or “X-plore File Manager.” Install either one — both are free.

2

Allow Unknown Sources

For safety verification, you can scan the downloaded file at VirusTotal.com before installing.

3

Enter the Download Link

Open Downloader, select the URL field using your remote, and type in this site’s Inat Box download link. Press Go to begin downloading.

4

Install & Open

Once the download completes, select Install. After installation finishes, select Open to launch Inat Box immediately.

⚠️
Typing Tip: Typing a URL with a remote can be slow. Most remotes support voice input — press the mic button and speak the link if your Downloader app supports it.

Navigating Inat Box with Your Remote

Inat Box’s interface works fine with a standard TV remote once you know the basic controls:

🔼 D-Pad / Arrow Keys

Navigate between channels, menu items, and content tiles.

⏺️ OK / Select Button

Confirms selection and plays the highlighted channel or video.

◀️ Back Button

Returns to the previous menu or exits full-screen playback.

🏠 Home Button

Exits Inat Box entirely back to your Android TV home screen.

Common Android TV Issues

🖥️ Inat Box looks too small or cropped

Go to your TV’s display settings and disable “Overscan” or enable “Screen Fit” — some TVs crop app content by default.

🔗 Downloader app can’t find the file

Double-check the URL was typed correctly with no extra spaces. If it still fails, try X-plore File Manager’s built-in browser instead.

💥 App crashes on launch

Clear the app cache via Settings → Apps → Inat Box → Clear Cache, then reopen. If the issue persists, reinstall the latest APK version.
